Up Against the Singaporean Sky

I was looking through some of my digital photo files and found this shot which I took in Singapore in 2008. Washed laundry was hanging from the 2nd story of an apartment building. From my view, the clothes were just up against the Singaporean sky. For a moment, I wondered if the clothes were hung by a Singaporean or a Filipino :)

High and drying

I think the owner is Pinoy, we are the only one who loves to dry our clothes with the sun and wind, even if dryer was available :) thanks for sharing this

actually you can see lots of them in HDB houses in SG so it’s not only us “pinoys” who do that.

It’s true. Even Thai people in Thailand also hang their clothes to dry especially in apartments and middle class condos. I just loved imagining that maybe it’s a Pinoy who did this
