Friendship Rings
Who would dare say that friendships are not priceless in this life?
We will always treasure them and at times we come up with visual reminders or souvenirs for these friendships we have. We sometimes do so by giving friendship bands and friendship rings.
I’ve observed from a number of Filipino friends that they give these friendship symbols whenever they part ways, perhaps after a time of studying or working together. Some also do when they relocate or change cities while some also give these symbols when they meet and forge a friendship with someone from another culture who is with them for just a given time. And so just before good byes are said as this new-found friend is about to fly or sail to his/her part of the world, the friendship band or ring is handed to him/her.
It’s just a simple symbol really — the friendship band or ring — but with it comes the priceless effort to honor and celebrate a friendship

used to have these before, i mean the bands but when we transferred, nangawala man oi.. hehehe… but the friendships are still there though.

my nephews and nieces wear these friendship bands on their wrists and ankles. they’re great with their summer outfits.:p
