Lunch Under a Tree, Anyone?

“Only God can make a tree.”

Shall we have lunch now with this view?

If you ever plan to visit Bohol, Philippines, you should drop by Cafe Lawis in Dauis, Bohol.
The Cafe serves hot and cold drinks and delicious meals at reasonable rates. It is ‘housed’ in one of the old stone buildings adjacent to the centuries-old Catholic church in Dauis. And so when you do get there, you do not only get to enjoy a nice drink or meal, you have the chance to experience a historical place as well.
There are also beautiful pasalubong items or souvenirs available there. My hubby and I bought hand-woven place mats. They are export quality.
Oh, and I must tell you that you can have lunch or dinner under that huge, green Acacia tree as seen in the photos above, should you opt for it πŸ™‚
Dauis is less than an hour by car from Tagbilaran City, capital of Bohol. Tagbilaran is about an hour and 30 minutes by plane from Metro Manila, Philippines.
