Just off the coast of Oslob, in the southern part of Cebu Philippines, an opportunity exists to swim with the whale sharks. I took this photo of my friend Madz, who astonishingly can smile for the camera while underwater.
Even though I read that whale sharks are gentle, I want to see for myself how they are, and saw that they are swimming languidly. This was reassuring so I went in the waters. It was an amazing experience to be had!
